The New Era Political Science Society
is the official organization of the Political Science Department of the NEU - College of Arts and Sciences. It is established
to oversee the academic welfare, as well as the socio-cultural well being of all ABPS majors. It is geared towards making
the Society an instrument of social reform and progress and a working model of participatory democracy, to equip each
and every member the desirable skills, abilities, competencies, and attitudes so that he may grow and strive to be an effective
and useful citizen of the country, and to lead the students to be well-informed about the Society and the political condition
of the world as well.
NEPSS Policy-2005: "NEPSS stability and development through dynamic leadership and proper distribution
of duties and responsibilities towards every member."
A high-quality education is one of the most important things that we can provide a child. Exposure to a variety of topics,
people, and adventures all contribute to a fulfilling school experience.
This web site is a terrific way to access the information you need about our school, as well as serving as an educational
resource. Whether you're currently enrolled or just curious about what we have to offer, you're sure to find a wealth of helpful
information.
I am very honored that the New Era Political Science Society chose me as one of the supposedly speakers of your assembly
today. Sorry to say, due to inevitable circumstance, I will not be able to make it. Nonetheless, I am sending to all you
fellow political scientists this brief communication.
I have to admit, Political Science is a not so easy but worthy course to take. It can offer plenty of opportunities for
you. A good example would be the professional political scientists who work in colleges and universities where they teach,
conduct research, and write articles and books related to their specific research interests.
Political scientists also work in policy-related think tanks, privately funded organizations that conduct and publicize
research on public policy issues. Businesses employ political scientists to provide information on the political contexts
in which corporations operate. Governments employ political scientists as assistants to legislators and as staff members of
administrative departments. Some political scientists become politicians or journalists. And mostly pursue their studies
to become a lawyer.
Political Science is indeed one of the demanding and challenging courses here in our beloved University. But, with the
help of our long-suffering but talented mentors, all of you, like us alumni, will surely outshine the other colleges and universities
and will be triumphant in your endeavors.
As you pass from the four (4) exciting and interesting years of college (to others maybe 5 years), remember to take with
you on your journey all the wisdom that is being offered to you. Do not leave them on the road, for you will not pick them
up afterwards. Success rests on your hands and not on the hands of another. You yourself make your future. So start making
a better one now.
Congratulations to you all fellow Political Scientists for making this far and Good Luck and God Bless for the next year
to come.
